Mango starts a marketplace, and so can you!

The headline in Drapers says it all: “Mango starts marketplace model, starting with Intimissimi” announcing how Mango will let the Italian lingerie brand sell on its ecomm website. Mango is also looking to “add other third party brands to its online offer”.

In short, Mango is turning its ecomm website into a marketplace platform that sells a variety of complementary brands.

i.LEVEL Connect, which we launched recently, allows you to do exactly the same thing with your own brand’s website, using the dropship model of sales fulfilment.

Brands using the portal have invited fashion brands that fit well with their current product range to sell on their website – jewellery, footwear, bags, clothing, accessories and even home furnishings. A number of fashion brands using i.LEVEL Connect are now seeing significant sales uplifts for minimal effort and low cost.

Set up is quick and easy using a very straightforward file-based up and download; you can also upgrade to have it fully automated using our RestAPI. The cost is low – some brands using the service have found that the uplift in ecomm sales dwarfs the initial set up cost and small monthly fee.

Why not turn your ecommerce website into a web platform that lets other brands sell on your site? Mango are doing it, you can too! Contact us for more information – just email us on info@ilevelsoftware.co.uk
